Thwala was founded in Johannesburg in 2021 by two female entrepreneurs who have been on a mission ever since to perfect the ultimate accessories in luxury and convenience.

We are proudly South African and embrace the culturally rich landscape that is ever present in our country. Our products are designed and hand crafted in Cape Town by highly skilled leather artisans. 

Thwala means "to carry" in IsiZulu. We aspire to design beautiful, high-quality, smart, innovative products that help you "carry" your essentials.
